The FLIR Patrol-IR is a low cost, compact pan and tilt thermal imager engineered for law enforcement applications. Thermal imaging is a powerful tool in law enforcement because suspects can't hide their heat.
The new Patrol IR is ideally suited to vehicle installations with its 360 degree viewing capability. The Patrol-IR is a true infrared thermal camera that uses no light. Night vision will never compare to thermal cameras.

The Johnson Criteria assumes that the critical dimension for a human being is 0.75 meters. To get DRI, you need 1.5 pixels, 6 pixels and 12 pixels across 0.75 meters in the object pane. That means:
